Data Delivery Lead – FinTech – 12 month contract

Oliver Walters have partnered exclusively with a high growth FinTech to recruit an experienced Data Delivery Lead on an initial 12 month day rate contract. This role will play a critical part in delivering key data initiatives across the organisation during a period of scale and transformation.

A hands-on delivery leadership role, suited to someone comfortable operating in fast-paced, regulated environments and accountable for driving complex data programmes to completion.

You Will be Responsible for:

As Data Delivery Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of data platforms, pipelines, and analytics solutions. You’ll work closely with engineering, product, and senior stakeholders to ensure data initiatives are delivered on time and aligned to business priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of multiple concurrent data initiatives across the finTech roadmap

• Defining delivery plans, timelines, and milestones for data programmes

• Coordinating cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and architects

• Managing risks, dependencies, and delivery governance

• Driving consistent delivery practices and improving ways of working

• Acting as the primary point of accountability for data delivery to senior stakeholders

To be successful in the position you will have:

• Proven experience delivering data programmes within FinTech, financial services, or regulated environments.

• Strong understanding of modern data platforms (cloud data warehouses, ETL/ELT, streaming, BI).FExperience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• A pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach with the confidence to challenge where needed.
