Business Analyst – London Market Insurance

Oliver Walters is currently partnering exclusively with a leading London Market Insurer to recruit an experienced Contract Business Analyst on a key transformation project. This is a 6-month contract, offered on an outside IR35 basis, with strong potential for extension.

We’re looking for someone who brings deep Lloyd’s market knowledge, a strong analytical mindset, and experience navigating complex stakeholder environments. You’ll be joining a collaborative team at a time of change, supporting a number of critical initiatives across operations, technology, and regulatory change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with business and technical teams to gather, define, and document business requirements
• Analyse and map current and future-state processes within the Lloyd’s market context
• Act as a bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure clear communication of goals and requirements
• Produce high-quality documentation: business cases, user stories, process flows, data mappings, etc.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Lloyd’s of London insurance market (essential)
• Strong understanding of Lloyd’s processes, platforms (e.g. PPL, DDM), and delegated authority frameworks
• Comfortable working across Agile or hybrid delivery models
• Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a contract role
