Technical Business Analyst – Digital Technology Consultancy | Contract

We’re partnering with a leading technology consultancy that works with some of the UK’s best-known brands to deliver large scale digital transformation initiatives. They’re seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a key technology programme.

As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery working closely with product owners, architects, developers, and retail stakeholders to define requirements, shape user stories, and ensure successful solution delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to elicit, document, and prioritise business and technical requirements
• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with technical teams to support solution design and integration within a retail environment (e.g., eCommerce, payments, supply chain, or store systems)
• Drive Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Support stakeholder management and communication across business and technology functions

To be considered for this position you will have:

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within a retail or consumer-facing environment
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in Agile delivery teams
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
• Solid understanding of systems integration, APIs, and digital platforms
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice to have’s:

• Experience in large-scale digital transformation or omnichannel retail projects
• Background in technology consultancy or client-facing delivery roles
